International SOS and Control Risks have launched TravelTracker 7. The update of its traveler tracking and risk mitigation solution enables users to communicate with travelers via multiple methods, including email, SMS and text-to-speech. Administrators can send one-way broadcasts to travelers and choose to obtain confirmation of receipt, or they can send two-way messages with travelers. Other updates include maps that allow administrators to add points of interest, such as company buildings and preferred hotels, to compare quickly against security or medical alerts, risk ratings and current traveler locations; smartphone and tablet access to the TravelTracker dashboard; a compliance status indicator, which allows administrators to see travelers' compliance with corporate travel policy; and an improved user interface.
There are plenty of eco-friendly initiatives being implemented by airlines, hotels and car hire companies that can help you do the right thing to the planet.
