Travel News 26 May 2016

According to an article from Business Travel News, the Association of Corporate Travel Executives executive director Greeley Koch has urged travel managers to take note on  business traveler anxiety in the wake of the crash of EgyptAir flight MS804 last Thursday en route from Paris to Cairo. Officials are investigating the possibility of a terror attack. “Until we know definitively what caused the EgyptAir crash, people inevitably will think terrorism,” quote Koch. "In the world today, even veteran travelers who spend months on business trips are anxious. Probably even more important to them, their families are worried every time they head out of town for work.” A recent ACTE survey showed that 56 percent of business travelers were moderately to severely anxious about a terrorism threat during business travel. Fifty-eight percent were more anxious than they were 12 months earlier.
