Pay-by-the-hour hotel at Paris Charles de Gaulle

According to Buying Business Travel, luxury hotel chain Yotel is to open an in-terminal hotel at Charles de Gaulle airport.

Opening on July 1, the hotel is aimed at travellers catching early flights or a layover and can be booked by the hour.

It will be situated in the transit area of Terminal 2E, home to Air France and Skyteam.

The hotel has an airline style self-check in and out service and features ‘cabins’ which come with ensuite bathroom with rain shower, flat screen TV and ‘techno wall features’ such as mood lighting and entertainment options.

The Paris hotel will feature Yotel’s Club Lounge which is equipped with USB charging points and TV zone as well as free hot drinks.

Yotel said its version of the hotel reception desk, is equipped with flight information screens that display individual passenger flight details by scanning the bar code on their boarding pass or smartphone.
